Selected papers from the UKACC Control 2008 conference will be published in a Special Issue of the proceedings of the IET Journal of Control Theory and Applications. For more details please see the call for papers.
The UKACC Control Conference is organized every two years and aims to bring together engineers and scientists from academia, research institutes and industry so that they can discuss the latest developments and requirements in the general area of Control Systems.
In 2008, the conference will be hosted by the Universities of Manchester and Salford. The cities of Manchester and Salford lay at the heart of the industrial revolution in the UK and have continued to remain a centre for the engineering and process industries. Manchester and Salford are also home to many national galleries and museums and of course Manchester United Football Club (where the conference dinner and drinks reception will be held). For more information about the venue, please go to the Conference Location and Venue section.
