EPSRC/UKACC Postgraduate Workshop

UKACC is to organise a two-day (30 August - 1 Sept 2008) postgraduate workshop conjunction with Control 2008 at University of Manchester. This workshop, EPSRC/UKACC Graduate Workshop, is sponsored by EPSRC, and it is free to EPSRC postgraduate students and other UK based students working on control and instrumentation. The targeted audiences are 50. In the case of over subscription, the priority will be given to EPSRC students, and the students who have registered for Control 2008. A preliminary programme can be found from this webpage. Further details will be announced soon. The supervisor who wish to send his/her PhD students to the workshop may register his/her interests by send an email to Dr. Zhengtao Ding, clearly listing the students' names, PhD titles and if the students are EPSRC students.

List of Participants

Each student who is to participate the workshop is required/expected to bring an A0 size poster on his/her current research for the poster session.

Those who require accommodation for 30 August and 31 August should contact Dr Zhengtao Ding (Zhengtao.Ding@manchester.ac.uk) by sending him an email, indicating clearly which day(s) the accommodation is required. The accommodation will be guaranteed if the message is sent before 12 noon Friday 22 August.
